Welcome to the ECP Psychology Blog.

This is a central location with a lot of useful links and information to help you while you are studying psychology. It will be particularly useful around exam time or if you miss classes as you will have access to handouts and basic information.

In addition, you will find a list of recommended reading for each topic and/or perspective. This reading is not always essential, but you will find your understanding and grades are both better if you try to do as much of this reading as possible.

You will notice that the sidebar to the left contains links to lots of pages.  For each perspective, there is a plan that tells you what we are going to do and where you can find readings to support each topic in your texts.

GR is the Year 4 textbook, Psychology: A new Introduction for AS Level

GL is Approaches to Psychology (Glassman)

AL is A-Level Psychology through diagrams (Hill)

Note that most of the resources on this site have come from other teachers of IB Psychology at various schools around the world.  In particular, I am grateful to John Crane at ISP for making so much material available.  You can see his material at http://www.cranepsych.com
